1. Summary
"Rolling Thin Film Oven Test Lab Equipment, RTFOT" is designed and produced according to the to JTJ052-93 Standard from the State Ministry of Transportation and Communications with the reference of the relevant rotary film standard in the Japanese JIS Standard.

"Rolling Thin Film Oven Testing Machine, RTFOT" is applicable for determining the performance variation of the semisolid bitumen under the heating and air actions. This experimental method is comparatively close to the actual circumstances of the heating and agitation in the use process. It can examine the anti-aging performance of the bitumen within a short period of time.

2. Structure
(1) Summarize
The out body is composed by thin steel plates. The upper part is the electric control part, the lower part is the working room of the heater, there is a gear-box of turn plate and electric motor at the rear side.

(2) Working room
Working room is the full stainless steel double door type. Observation window is rectangle. There are many devices in the room, such as light, squirrel cage type fan, compelling ventilation stack, intake, turn plate, etc. The shell of the working room is made all with stainless steel

(3) Ventilation
There is a accessory small air compressor to the heater for the test. Air enters into the copper tube of the heater and warm-up after measured by the flowmeter on the panel, and then is spouted into the sample plasma bottle on the turn plate by the nozzle. The airflow in the heater circumgyrates to a certain direction affected by the compelling ventilation stack and the squirrel cage type fan. Some of the excrescent air is exhausted out of the heater by the upper overlow port.

(4)Constant temperature heating
"Rolling Thin Film Oven Test, RTFOT" is with the type of convection electric heating of up and down layers. The constant control adopts the high sensitive resistance and the temperature controller of time proportion type and adjustment digital.

(5) Turn plate
"Rolling Thin Film Oven Test, RTFOT" is fixed with electric motor and speed change mechanism at the rearward. There is a 15r. P. M turn plate in the working room, it can be fixed 8 sample plasma bottle with glass jaws for bitumen sample at the same time.
