FBT-5 Automatic Blaine Specific Surface Area
Summary
The instrument is developed according to GB8074-87. It is controlled by single chip, porosity adjustable, touch key operating, and automatically control measuring. It automatically stores the coefficient K value, and specific surface area value.

Operating instruction
1. Parameters calibrating (K value)
Prepare the container with measured volume; prepare the material layer according to the request of 6.
Smudge the inside and outside of container cone with sealing grease evenly, put it to the pressure meter cone and rotate two circles. Take off the tamping apparatus, press [K value], then [select], now the LED of display 1 is shining. Adjust to the standard powder specific surface area value by pressing [+] or [-] in display 1. Press "select", display 2 is shining. Adjust to the standard powder density by pressing [+] or [-] in display 2. Then press [Measure], the instrument will start measuring and finish the test automatically. After test, store the K value automatically. But we ask you to record down the K value for future purpose.
2. Specific surface area measuring (S value)
Prepare the material layer according to 6. Put it to the pressure meter cone according to above method. Press [S value], then [select], display 2 will shine. Press [+] or [-] to input density value, then press [select] to enter. Press [measure], finish the measurement automatically. Display 3 seconds time value after timing. Please record the measure time at this moment. Then the instrument will calculate the specific surface area value and store automatically. Then, display 1 displays specific surface area value of specimen, display 2 displays the location of the value.
3. K value input
No matter what reason, if K value in the instrument is wrong, press [select], then [+] or [-] to input the K value, then press [select], the instrument restore the K value.
4. History parameters inquiry
In the status of standby, press [-] to check the history specific surface area value forwardly. The instrument can store 50 measure results. If over storage, it will cover from the first one. The location without measured will display fault. Please refer to following sheet.
